Every other AI video tool stops at 10 seconds. Movie Studio does not stop.
Today we are launching Movie Studio, the first AI video editor built for unlimited-length production. It is a timeline-based workspace where you compose scenes from any of our AI models into videos of any duration — 30 seconds, 3 minutes, 30 minutes.
The 5-Second Problem
Since the first AI video generators launched, the industry has been stuck in a loop: generate a 5-second clip, download it, open a traditional editor, try to stitch clips together manually, fight with inconsistent styles, give up and start over.
This is not just a technical limitation. It is a creative one. When your tool thinks in 5-second increments, you think in 5-second increments. You cannot plan a narrative arc. You cannot build tension. You cannot tell a story. You can only make moments.
Movie Studio breaks that constraint entirely.
In Practice: A Chernobyl Short Film
To show what Movie Studio can do, we built a complete short film about the Chernobyl nuclear disaster — entirely with AI. One creative brief. ~35 scenes. Each scene generated from text to image to video, all on one canvas. The final output: a 2-minute, 22-second cinematic piece with AI-generated transitions and a unified color grade.
Here is a look at a handful of the key scenes from the project — from the initial prompt to the final generated frame.
Creative brief:
“Write scenes for a Soviet Era Nuclear Reactor explosion in an emotional arc”

The Control Room
“Soviet-era control room, engineers in uniforms operating panels, analog screens, dim green lighting, cinematic, realistic”

The Explosion
“Nuclear plant explosion at night, aerial view, burning reactor, heavy smoke, dramatic fire, cinematic realism”

The Firefighters
“Firefighter in hazmat suit spraying hose at blazing fire, sparks and smoke, cinematic lighting, dark background, ultra realistic”

The Playground
“Abandoned playground at night, children silhouettes, fog, wet ground, gloomy sky, eerie cinematic lighting”

The Empty City
“Deserted Soviet apartment blocks, aerial view, overcast sky, empty streets, post-apocalyptic mood, realistic”

The Warning
“Man near barbed wire fence with radiation warning sign, muddy road, gloomy sky, Chernobyl atmosphere, cinematic realism”
The Final Film
~35 scenes, stitched together with AI-generated transitions and a unified color grade. 2 minutes and 22 seconds, entirely AI-generated from a single creative brief.
What Is Next
Movie Studio is available today for all Reclips users. We are already working on collaborative timelines, real-time preview rendering, and AI-assisted scene suggestions. This is just the beginning of what unlimited-length AI video can unlock.
